A self taught chef with over 20 years in the profession, Sarah wrote her first cookbook when she was 13 years old ( she didn’t get on with her French exchange and spent the time with the grandmother in the family learning traditional French home cooking..in French!). She has worked with the Slow Food Movement for many years and was a Chef representative for the UK at Salone del Gusto, Turin in 2006.
A lover of the counytryside, Sarah and her family grow many of the herbs and vegetables they use, rear some of the meat and hunt and search for wild and special ingredients.
